In the article "Will Robots Take Our Children's Jobs?" by Alex Williams, he mentions how children are huge fans of robots because they can work for you. The father hesitated to respond back to his child and not say, sadly one day his son may work for them. Another fear the father has is that maybe one day there will be no jobs and his son will be jobless. The impact of robots on jobs in the future is a topic of on ongoing debate and speculation.
On the other hand, certain job sectors may experience significant transformations or even job displacement due to automation. Roles that involve routine manual labor or tasks that can be easily automated are more susceptible to this disruption. However, many jobs require a combination of cognitive skills, social interaction, and adaptability, which are areas where humans currently hold an advantage over machines.
Overall, the relationship between robots and jobs is complex, and the future impact will depend on various factors such as the pace of technological development, societal attitudes, and policy decisions. It is crucial for individuals, businesses, and governments to anticipate and adapt to these changes to ensure a smooth transition and maximize the benefits of automation.
A great question as a parent would be, "Son what career do you want when you grow up"? I believe, there are certain jobs that will be hard to be replaced by robots. In my opinion, as we are living the NBA Finals, I wouldn't see why robots will entertain the public in sports events or can they? We humans should not fear robots, however, they are very advanced and can become the next working industry.
